- Client Needs:
- A business website to showcase his work and deliver news and event information to his audience. Because this industry is so competitive, the client wanted his photography portfolio to stand out and interest his audience.
- Solution:
- An XHTML website with various Flash-based animated portfolios stylishly displays his work and invites the user to interact with his portfolios by scrolling through the pieces. An on-line form automatically sends messages to his e-mail account, and a Flash-detection Kit ensures that users have a valid Flash driver.
- Production:
- Photoshop, Dreamweaver, XHTML, CSS, Flash ActionScript, JavaScript-based Flash-detection and other Javascript, CGI on-line form
- Role:
- Web-readying graphics, preparing XHTML mark-up of page structure, developing CSS web formatting, testing code, uploading files to temporary and active servers, creating ActionScript-based Flash files, adding a Flash-detection system to the website, customizing Javascript and CGI, and basic design revisions.
